The Bull Helps Houston Fire Department Kick Off Operation Stocking Stuffer

November 16, 2018

Lorugene Young started Operation Stocking Stuffer 30 years ago and the tradition is bigger and better than ever thanks to many fine folks across our city. What started with 30 families has now blossomed into 4,000 families who receive toys each year for Christmas. This is the season of giving and without Operation Stocking Stuffer these families would miss out on the magic of Christmas.

This morning at Fire Station 37 off Stella Link we kicked off the toy drive with the Houston Fire Department and Pershing Middle School. The toys are already rolling in for Operation Stocking Stuffer:

The kickoff of Operation Stocking Stuffer went great at Fire Station 37 with @houstonfiredepartment Pods of Houston and @100.3_thebull Bonus: I got to meet @kprc2sofiaojeda too! #Houston #Christmas #Radio #Texas Drop off donations of unwrapped toys at Houston Fire Stations around town and we’ll get the toys to over 4,000 families in Houston!

PODS of Houston set up theirPODS at Houston Fire Department locations all across the area to be used as "Santa's Sleighs." The PODS will be transported to the distribution location to be handed out to the children.

Each family has 3 children which brings the number of kids to 12,000! Now to make sure each child gets toys we need your help! Feel free to reach out to me on social media if you need more information or head over to HFD's website for locations.
