Cody Johnson took the stage last night at Ten Man Jam in front of a couple thousand 100.3 The Bull listeners at the House of Blues. Cody, didn’t know he was in the final group until he got to the venue and he was exceptionally excited to be sitting next to Gary Allan.

On stage, Cody was decked out in his black cowboy hat and black jacket backed by his fiddler player Jody! It was dream-like to hear the crowd sing “With You I Am” along with him, last night.

We talked backstage before the show about his roots in Huntsville, his past hobbies and jobs before music and he responded to the comparisons to George Strait and Garth Brooks. His year was epic and it was nice to have time to sit with him and chat about all of the success he’s seen!
