Post Season Astros Viewing Destinations
If you haven’t got the chance to grab a ticket at this historic series, fear not. Here’s a handful of areas we recommend if you’re seeking out the crowds of orange to celebrate the beloved Astros.
- Postseason Street Festival & Watch Parties at Minute Maid Park – Before each game, home or away, Minute Maid Park will host a free street party that starts two hours before first pitch. Street parties will feature live music, food trucks, face painting, caricature drawings, stilt walkers, inflatables, a photo booth, bar games, and more. Plus there will be appearances by the Shooting Stars, Shuttle Crew, and Orbit. The street festival and watch party are free to attend, but you’ll need to claim a free voucher online or in person at entrances on the day of the event (if available). Click here to claim your watch party voucher. Parking will be available in Astros Lots A, B, and C.
- Market Square Park – Located on Milam, near the Theater District in Downtown, Market Square Park lays central to a string of bars and restaurants that give you plenty of options to take in the World Series while enjoying drink specials during the game. Try out Bovine & Barley (416 Main Street) or El Big Bad (419 Travis Street).
- 8th Wonder Brewery in EaDo – A prime location for pre- and post-game celebrations, 8th Wonder opens their doors for the Astros postseason, featuring specials and food trucks throughout the game.
- Lucky’s Pub in EaDo – Lucky’s has been packing their patio throughout the postseason so you know the World Series will be a raucous event. Just a few blocks away from Minute Maid, you can catch drink specials, Pappa Charlie’s BBQ, games, a staggering amount of jumbo-screens and televisions, and even some swag booths to pick up clothing from local retailers.
