The Summer of the Bull has been so busy that I’ve had to slow down my exploration of Houston and all the great food and drink spots, parks, museums, murals, and everything else. But I am back with another delicious burger joint…quite literally The Burger Joint.
Located at 2703 Montrose Blvd. Houston, TX 77006, The Burger Joint offers a variety of burgers, dogs, fries, shakes, sandwiches, bowls, beer and more with a pretty big patio space with plenty of TV’s.
Lets just talk about the burgers and fries real quick which is what I chose on this visit. Burgers: You got the Classic (Agnus beef, LTO, Pickles, Mayo), the BBQ (Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, bacon, onion rings, cheddar and BBQ sauce), the Mexi (Angus beef, lettuce, grilled ham, avocado, queso fresco, jalapeños, and chipotle mayo), the OPA! (Lamb, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, feta cheese, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce), the Kimchi (Korean BBQ style angus beef, lettuce, onions, kimchi, fried egg, cheddar, and garlic mayo), the Chili Cheese (Angus beef, house-made chili, queso, onions, and pickles)….Hungry yet?? There’s more..for the whole list click here!
As for fries, hand-cut fries, sweet potato fries, queso fries, bacon-parm fries, and chili-quest fries.
For my first visit, I chose the Chili Cheese Burger with Queso Fries and it was scrumptious! I will literally be back to probably try every burger. And everything else for that matter. Definitely one of my favorite burgers I have had so far here in Houston.
The queso fries were really good too! However, I came back about a week later with a friend and just ordered some fries, the bacon-parm fries. And let me tell you, those are to die for, the queso fries, delicious, the bacon-parm fries: Next Level!
