Winter Storm Update: School Closures
By George

Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day!  At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity.  We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!

Becky Turney’s  teenage son passed away two years ago.  And the past two years have been very tough for her…but this past weekend things were finally looking happier.  Becky was getting re-married, and she wanted to make sure her son was included – so as part of the ceremony, she attached two small portraits of her son to her bouquet.

But her husband to be – had a surprise planned for Becky as well – just before their vows – he stopped service and brought up, 20-year-old Jacob Kilby.

Becky wasn’t sure who Jacob was until her finance’ introduced as the young man who’s life had been saved when he received her’s son’s heart in a transplant.

Becky’s said  “It was shock, immense joy, excitement — I squealed like a little girl,” Becky told Yahoo Style. “I jumped up and down.” The young man said He’d spent a year and a half on the transplant waiting list and said, “There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about the gift that I have and respect the gift that I have (been given) ”.

Someone thought to bring along a stethoscope for the occasion, through which Becky got to listen to her son’s heart beating in Kilby’s chest.

Not a dry eye in the house at that one…So where ever you are…throw your hand in the air… “CAN I GET AN AMEN”… – Focused on The Good it’s the Morning Bull with George, Mo and Cowboy Dave!
