So we’ve seen this before, Jonah Hill was overweight, then slims down, then puts on weight for a movie roll, back and forth, and back and forth. But for the film War Dogs, Jonah had to put on 40 pounds for the role but made the decision to get fit after production wrapped up. So he reached out to Magic Mike himself, and co-star of 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street, Channing Tatum.

“I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum and said, ‘Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’” Hill said during an interview on The Tonight Show. “Yes, you dumb motherfucker, of course you will. It’s the simplest thing in the entire world.”

And the results are showing…
