There’s no doubt that Houston has some amazing restaurants. In fact, Rice University states that Houston has the more restaurants per capita than any other city in the world, with over 11,000 to choose from. So, it shouldn’t be a complete shock that Houston has the most expensive restaurant in the state. Although, it may be a surprise that the restaurant is in Pearland versus the fancy River Oaks part of town.
The folks over at MSN came up with a list of the most expensive restaurants in all 50 states. According to the list, Pearland is home to the restaurant that you’ll be spending most money for a meal in the state of Texas.
That fancy restaurant is Killen’s Steakhouse. Chef Ronnie Killen, who is Le Cordon Bleu–trained, has made a “Killen” with his amazing steakhouse. The restaurant is a regular spot for some hearty eaters, like Houston Texans players, including JJ Watt.
