So I came back from vacation and a new burger spot opened up down the street from my house, so naturally I had to go eat there immediately. What I found was a really cool place to grab a burger, a beer if I wanted, with plenty of outdoor space to play all sorts of games.

Balls Out Burger in the Heights seems to believe in simplicity. Quality over quantity. Burgers, fries, and drinks (sodas, shakes, texas beer and wine), done. Not extensive but delicious. You can see the menu below:

And let me tell you the burger was perfect. I chose to go with just a single because I wasn’t extremely hungry, and I’m glad because it was big, and not sure I would have finished a double! (But I will try another time.) I did the hand-cut fries, which were cooked perfect, and crispy, which I love, nothing worse than undercooked soft fries. And of course…my Dr. Pepper.

You can eat inside or out. However the inside is pretty small, so when I went there was no room for me to eat in the AC. So I grabbed a seat outside, the good thing almost every table is covered by shade.

And probably the coolest part for me, is they have two dart boards! This is just personal for me, I LOVE shooting darts, so if I want to grab a burger, couple beers and shoot some darts I know exactly where I am going. Plus they have other areas for games including ladder ball and corn hole.
