There’s no doubt about it to the folks who live in Friendswood that the name isn’t just a name it’s a lifestyle. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met live in Friendswood and it seems like a great location because it’s not quite on the beach but it’s also close enough that you don’t have to spend all day trying to get there. You get the lovely tropical weather patterns and easy access to the metro area of Houston. According to, Friendswood is the 9th best suburb to live in if you’re going to be moving toward Houston.

The ranking considered Houston’s suburbs in terms of amenities, standard of living, crime data, unemployment rate, and commute time to determine the 10 best suburbs.
