Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day! At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity. We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!
It’s wedding season – and so much goes into planning that special day, and of course y’all remember the saying “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
Well, a Cape Girardeau, Missouri bride said she had just about everything completed, the catering, the guest list, the church – everything was in place – except for one thing, her 92 year young uncle was in the hospital with pneumonia. And that was troubling Ali Ferrell, she said “When we first got engaged I knew that I wanted to include Uncle Bill in a special way,”.
But as the day got closer and closer, her Marine Veteran uncle found his motivation to get better, “The nurses there at the hospital asked him what his goal was and that what they wrote on the board. He said ‘I want to be something blue in your wedding,'” Ferrel explained.
Uncle Bill stood guard next to the altar. Not a dry eye in the church and Ali said it was the perfect wedding with her special person, who will forever be her something blue.
So where ever you are in the kitchen or in the car…can throw your hand in the air, “CAN I GET AN AMEN” for this … Always focused on the good news, and if you ever see a story that would make a great amen email it in at George@thebullhouston.com
