Time for our “CAN I GET AN AMEN” story of the day! At “THE MORNING BULL” we believe in the power of positivity. We believe there are more good people than bad in the world, and we believe that goodness should be celebrated when you find it!
Like the Story of a Maplewood, Minnesota woman, Jenna Yorkovich was getting married – she and her parents had been working on the wedding for nearly two years. They had booked their venue for the reception and contracted with the caterer some 16 months in advance.
But just seven weeks before the wedding – Jenna called it off. She said it took “courage…it took a lot of courage” to cancel things but it was the right thing to do. But as she canceled plans, sent out messages to all the invited guests, Jenna and her parent discovered the venue and the caterer were non-refundable – so what to do?
Jenna, who works at Minneapolis Children’s hospital, said she knew just who should benefit “I thought it would be a great call to make and it turned into a wonderful event”. On the Night Jenna was supposed to light up the night in her wedding gown she instead helped light the night for nurses, volunteers and the many families with sick children who depend on Ronald McDonald House.
And Jenna’s Local Ronald McDonald House president said “You know they call Ronald McDonald House the house that love built and I’m so grateful for the family’s graciousness and their blessings today
“Seeing how Ronald McDonald influences people’s lives, I thought it would be a great phone call to make and a great phone call turned into a great event so that helps,” Jenna said – by the way if you’d like to help our local Houston Ronald McDonald House – CLICK HERE
