Did you know we have superheros playing for our Astros?  Lance McCullers, Jr., one of the Astros’ top pitching prospects, made his major league debut at Minute Maid Park last night.  In the past, he’s been known to rock a pair of Under Armor brand Batman cleats and he definitely busted them out for the game last night.

Our beloved George Springer encouraged the wardrobe fun.  Springer himself often sports a Superman undershirt. The issue with McCullers cleats may be with the League; as players are technically not allowed to display unapproved corporate logos.

The Astros ended the game with a 2-1 Loss.  The 21-year-old righty allowed one run on three hits and three walks, striking out five as he flashed his mid-90s stuff out of the gate.
