If there’s one thing I have learned in my short time in Houston it’s that people love dating apps AND going out for drinks. I’m assuming it’s because of the massive amount of people in the city and all the surrounding areas….the chances of finding someone you like on a dating app is greater here than other places.

Most people work so darn much they don’t have time to go out and meet other singles as often as they’d like so the dating apps let them do it from their couch.

One of the newest dating apps is called Clover and they just surveyed 15,000 of their users to see what each different city prefers in the dating world. Casual Dating, Hook-Ups, New Friends & Long-term relationships were the 4 categories users could choose from and wouldn’t you know it…Houston users by far preferred casual dating over the other options.

I guess that means that in Houston you have to take them out and actually be friends before they’ll hop in the sack, right? I mean, if hooking up meansĀ just sex then dating is a step above. Makes sense to me.
