The celebrity Twittersphere is all about it.  Here’s what people are saying . . .

Bill Maher:  “Watching VMAs.  Haven’t been in a strip club in a while, but good to see nothing has changed.”

Kelly Clarkson:  “Just saw a couple performances from the VMAs last night.  2 words . . . #pitchystrippers.”

Lisa Rinna:  “Is it just me or are the [VMAs] up to this point like what watching Japanese porn must be like?”

James Van Der Beek:  “Things I learned watching the [VMAs]:  There’s nothing you can do with a foam finger that you can’t air on MTV.”

CHARLES KELLEY of LADY ANTEBELLUM took to his Twitter page to say, “Do you think BILLY RAY CYRUS woke up with an “Achy Breaky Heart” this morning after his little girl’s performance at the VMAs last night?”

JOSH GRACIN tweeted “Billy Ray Cyrus.  Please find some way to be a dad.  Miley Cyrus has [officially] lost it.”  He also wrote “Thanks Miley Cyrus.  Now I have to explain to my 11-year-old daughter why she no longer can follow your career.”

Michael Strahan:  “That was uncomfortable, weird and hard to watch!”

Rob Lowe:  “I cannot think of anything less interesting.”

Nick Cannon:  “Remind me to never let my kids into showbiz . . . Thanks.”

Billy Ray Cyrus is in silent mode so far.  All he’s been Tweeting about since the VMAs is making new music and . . . Syria.

In fact, hours after the VMAs he Tweeted, “Thanking God for so many blessings tonight.  Continue to pray for world peace.  More love . . . less hate.”

Most importantly I think we should all know Miley’s opinion of her performance…
