As the band Texas High Life, they played all over Texas for 5 years beginning in 2003.  After graduating college and moving back home to Cypress Texas the duo of Mitch McBain, and Blake Myers formed the duo, Rosehill.  Living right off Cypress-Rosehill road, (hence the name), they began writing furiously about anything and everything.  Life, love, kids, it all began to flow effortlessly.  The result was their debut album, “White Lines And Stars”, released in 2010 and produced by the one and only Radney Foster.

The duo now has a brand new album in the works, and they stopped by the studios to talk with Steve Rixx about the journey, and the new music.  They were also kind enough to share a brand new track from the upcoming album, and performed it acoustic live in the studio.  Check out the interview, listen to the new track, then do yourself a favor and pick up some Rosehill music for yourself.  These guys are the real deal…TEXAS!
